In days gone by.
I'ts written there,
Behind our eyes.

I feel that love,

We've shared great pain,
The cost was high.
The scars we share,
The tears we've cried.

The test of time,
The pain of love.
Our cries were heard,
By those above.

Though distance,
Keeps us far apart.
