Wisdom of the Wolf

by MiC Lee-Price

The White Wolf grizzles,

His pain is great

He is lonesome for

His she-wolf mate

He snaps and snarls

At all those near by

He made the cubs

Wimper and cry

One little one

His teeth did catch

Her scream was great

Her heart was smash

She shrunk away

Sad, forlorn

O' how it hurt

To feel his scorn

The Apha Wolf stretched

He realized

Before the others

He slowly rised

He stalked towards

The little cub

Then nuzzled her

With all his love

The White Wolf

Knows his mistake

Forgive thy father

For Goddess sake.
