MESSAGE
FROM STARHAWK
Hi friends, below is some good news I have to share.
Many of you are old fans of the Women and Spirituality
trilogy Donna
directed for the National Film Board of Canada back in
the 'eighties and
'nineties: "Goddess Remembered", "Burning
Times", and "Full Circle".
Well, they are finally out on DVD! Their new distributor,
Alive Mind,
is excited about feminist spirituality and savvy about
promotion, and, what's even better-they are also going
to distribute "Signs Out of Time", our documentary
on Marija Gimbutas
http://belili.org/index.html.
This will take a huge load off of us, and
we hope will get these works out to a broader audience.
Alive Mind is sponsoring a new website on the broader
topic of Women
and Spirituality, and both Donna and I will be writing
regular
blogs so you can keep up on our activities. I will continue
to
send out posts to my own list, from time to time, but
I encourage you to
check the new site. The other women who are writing include
Charlene
Spretnak and Carol Christ, and it promises to be a great
dialogue.
Readers of the Belili Newsletter - http://belili.org/aboutbelili.html
-
can order the box set of Donna'sWomen and Spirituality
series containing the three DVD films at 10% off. You
can also support Belili while doing so: enter the coupon

We're excited about this collaboration, and urge you
all to check it
out! As we approach another anniversary of Marija's death
we welcome
this chance to extend her legacy and keep her work alive.
Brightest of Blessings for Brigid,
Starhawk

Microsoft have set their eyes on taking over Yahoo.
If this happens,
expect the way our Yahoo groups will look and function
to change drastically. That is if they are allowed to
