About Sol Skugga:

This is the story of Sun and Shadow, and the borderline in between. It's a sad, violently happy, sleepwalking, passionate trip ? ambient noises mixed with both frail and aggressive guitars, electronic drums, piano, mellow choirs and sampled background sounds. These are my tunes, my inner secrets and visual keys.

I produce these songs in my own studio, and my aim is to make fragile and authentic rock music, filled with shifting landscapes and honest lyrics. Most of all this is a monolog between me and myself, a mirror showing past and future.

I had my first piano lessons at 7 years age, and got my first guitar at 16. I wrote songs and lyrics at 11 and got in touch with Cubase SX and Reason and started producing electronica, pop and rock 1999. Taking private singing lessons at the royal Swedish School of Music.

Staffan Österlind (Guitar player in bands such as Paul DiAnno) got involved in this project last autumn; 2006. After adding some guitar solos, theremins and mellotrons, and remixing my demos/productions, I finally felt satisfied with the sound of ?Swimming without webbed toes?.

At the moment I live in Malmö, south of Sweden, working on my next two albums, one down tempo, folk-lore album, and one electronica/rock album, having some promotion made for me in the USA!
